Aftermath100 believes it is important to commemorate our war dead, and raise awareness of the suffering of those affected by wars, past and present, especially in 2018, the most poignant of years – the centenary of the end of WW1.
We have now set out our plans, some of which are quite ambitious, and have no doubt a tough challenge lays ahead.
However, with your help and support, we believe these plans can be achieved.
We need volunteers to help with ALL of our plans, with lots of different opportunities for everyone to become involved; young or old, rich or poor, singles, groups, organisations, in fact, anybody. There WILL be something you can help with.
You may want to help by taking part in one or more of our planned events; opportunity is there for all.
Musicians, artists, poets, actors, magicians, jugglers……just tell us what you’re good at for your chance to shine. Lighting and other technical skills are also required.
You may have some time to spare for raising funds. Collections, quiz nights, raffle prizes etc;
We are also on the lookout for a disused shop, or other suitable building to raise funds by selling quality previously owned clothes, bric-a-brac etc; So if you have such a property, or know of anyone who has, we can put it to good use.
